Born in Agotime-Kpetoe, Volta Region, Ghana in a family of cocoa farmers and **Kente weavers.
Schooling in Togo and Ghana, hence starting with the two colonial languages.
Studied applied linguistics, education and mass communications in Accra, Munich and Berlin.
